Yacht Charter Extended Trips
Extend your full day sail to an overnight aboard the Island Star yacht. After a day of fun in the sun, and you're not ready to end your little adventure, plan to spend a night under the stars or, for the more comfort seekers, we have sleeping for 6 below decks. Whenever possible, our fishing lines are out in hopes of landing an Ono or Mahi Mahi, or even a small tuna for some fresh sashimi. With our fully equipped galley, we can prepare your favorite meals. If you prefer, arrangements can be made with our finer dining restaurants to cater your evening meal (outside catering is additional). After a scrumptious breakfast and a last dip in the water, we'll set sail back to Maui, arriving around noon.
Extend your overnight trip to a 4 day/3 night adventure aboard the Island Star. Set sail from Maalaea Harbor for Honolua Bay, Maui. Anchor for the night in a secluded cove complete with some of the best snorkeling Maui has to offer. After breakfast and a morning snorkel, we're off to the island of Molokai. Once on the backside of Molokai, where we plan to spend the next two days, we will have our 30' hard-bottom inflatable join us. The highlights of this particular area, include exploring the many caves and arches that are accessible only by rafts, viewing the spectacular waterfalls that were made famous in such movies as Jurassic Park, Crimson Tide, George of the Jungle, and The Lost World. A full tour of Kalaupapa Peninsula (Father Damien's Leper Colony) is also possible to arrange. And for the more adventurous, we can also provide a hiking tour and pig hunting. After two fun-packed days, we're off to the backside of Lanai. Arriving there about noon on the third day, we'll once again indulge ourselves in the beauty of the underwater world. Scuba diving is a must for any of you that are certified. A tour of Lanai City can be arranged, as well as a stop at the remote and exclusive resorts that make Lanai the paradise for the Rich and Famous. On the morning of the fourth day we will begin our journey back to Maalaea Harbor, Maui. This is where we are most likely to encounter the Spinner Dolphin, as they hitch a ride on our bow wake. We should arrive back on Maui just in time for one final sunset aboard the Island Star. Highlights of this trip are available on video. Accommodations for up to 6 passengers on our overnight trips. |
